Ephesians 4:11-14

Build unity to prepare for service.

God saved us to help others. Service is a symbol of gratitude.. A non serving Christian is an ungrateful Christian. It doesn’t feel good to be taken for granted. Service becomes an opportunity to let the King of Kings know, I Love You. Serving is a tangible manifestation of God’s understanding. Serving is helping not hurting. Bringing God’s glory through our service. Love, biblical love, is doing what is best for another even at my own expense. Love is what I can give you, not what I can get out of it.

Service is the theme for tonight. I have to join a ministry. The ushers asked me to join and I’m thinking about it. I have a lot of time over Christmas to help. I’m not going to have my little ones home. They are going to Idaho for the holiday. For thanksgiving we are going to try and go to Seattle. I hope the airlines are running. I have to be of service. I’m hear to serve your ministry My Love. Have a blessed night.

Good Morning

 L uke 8:11-15 New International Version 11  “This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God.  12  Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.   13  Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away.  14  The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature.   15  But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.
