Title Refusing to be the Same  Part 1

What was it about the Magi to see the star and everybody else missed it. What is it about others who see God and those who miss it. They were looking, watching and waiting for him. The Old Testament prophesied tha he would. Are we looking for God to show himself in our life. Matthew, seek me and you will find me. He wants us to have a relation ship. Jesus wants to be you. Do we wake up seeking Jesus? Are we reacting to the world's hand that is dealt to us? What are you expecting? Do we wake up and ask God to show himself to us. They were looking for more. Are we looking for more or are we letting last year define us. Are we seeking God to show up with the more. They were looking for Jesus. It was a dark sky but they were looking for the light. They traveled a long distance. We live in a microwave world. Are you willing to go the distance. Pop up activist and pop up Christians. They are excited when things are going their way. Are we willing to go the distance? Justice won’t be microwave. You shake the dust from your feet and you keep marching. Don’t forget that people died in this city. We should live in a way that your very presence should bring attention. Are you willing to go the long haul to fulfilling your purpose will require St Sabina to stay at it and not give up. You will never see me wave the flag of surrender. I need a congregation that says quitting is not my business. I fight to win. It ain’t over until I win. Do we have the tenacity too win. We need some everyready Christians. I’ll pop back up again. Paul do not get weary at well doing, in due season. I am speaking that this is my season from now on until I close my eyes and meet Jesus. Don’t get weary, don’t give up, don’t give in. The kingdom of God has no place for quitters. We have to be seeking God. How bad do you want him. are you willing to go the distance. Do you have the eyes and faith to recognize God in a situation. I see something, I feel something here .

They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away.  14  The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature.   15  But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.
