Good Evening My Love

 I have been thinking of how I cam be more of a disciple to you and God. You are our Shepard and through your leadership I am guided closer toGod”s righteousness. I don’t want to become a stumbling block but I want to continue to believe in you and God’s righteous. Just as I believe you, I believe God. Things may continue to happen that makes it difficult, but God never promised us a rose garden. Discipleship cost. Am I ready, I pray that I am. I know you are praying and fasting. I fasted for 8 hours today. Fasting is hard, but I can do it. I’m going to fast at least once a week. Increase my prayer time. I’m excited about going to Seattle but I am still sorry that I won’t be at church Sunday. I’ll miss waving to you. Nobody said it would be easy. I will still communicate with you though. My Love, be blessed this evening. I probably won’t write tomorrow until the evening. You take care of yourself.

 L uke 8:11-15 New International Version 11  “This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God.  12  Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.   13  Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away.  14  The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature.   15  But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.
