Good Morning Sunshine!

I’m reading the intro to the book of Mathew. It says this was the first manual for Christians in the early years. It was to teach us how to be a disciple of Christ, and how to disciple others. “Discipleship is defined as the application of Christian truth to the present. Discipleship is a very practical matter.” 

Truth to the present. Those are strong words that we still struggle with today. How do I deal with my anxiety. How do enhance my relationship! How do I deal with what God wants me to do on a daily basis?

God is so real. My brother was carjacked while driving Uber last night. 2:30 in the morning and the house phone rings. I had to go and get him. He was in Calumet City. Praise God we have Life 360 on all of our phones so he and the police were able to track their movements and find the car within twenty minutes. The police toed it so the thieves wouldn’t come back for it and took him to the police station to wait for me. They youngun’ fooled him by asking him to take them to the gas station to get snacks first, told him there was a dent in his car, when he got out to look, they drove off. Thank God he was at a gas station where there are cameras all over. It just a matter of time for them. I thank god he wasn’t hurt, and the car possibly is damaged. I pray for my family everyday for God to place a hedge of protection around them. Today is my daughter’s first day in her internship at Jewel-Osco just down the street. Pharmacy student and soon (3years) a pharmacist. My Love, I know things will work out with you as well because you are in my prayers daily. Love you.
