Good Morning Sunshine!
Praise God Today and Everyday.
Prayer works. I was reading the bible this morning about how Herrod had killed James and the crowd loved it so he imprisoned another disciple to publicly kill him the next day. Guards were assigned around him but the prayers of the people were heard by God. An angel was sent and led him out of prison. God can do what man cannot do. What is impossible for Man is possible for God. Herrod searched for him but could not find him. He aligned himself with people that he was able to suppress and called himself a god. Immediately God showed him who the real God is. Faith, submission, and recognizing who the real authority is is what I get from that. God continues to show me submission and faith. I submit to God's will. I pray for what I hope he hears and will answer. I pray that you are released and found totally vindicated of the lies and smears. I believe someone put them up to it with a little monetary reward for them. I also submit and pray for the marriage. I won't say anymore on that because its such a long shot that truly God is the only way for it to happen. I pray that I am able to continue to get better and be an asset to my God.
Thank you for listening and because you have done that, I now have 10 questions to get to know you and me. It's just fun and it all my answers. I'm answering for you and me so if I'm wrong then, oops, my bad. Oh and I don't watch the bachelor or bachelorette or reality shows so excuse me if the questions seem geeky, that just me.
1. Whats your favorite color?
You:I think its blue, it matches your eyes and you look really good with blue clothing.
Me: Red is a good color on me but I also like blue (Tiffany blue) I like it on my nails.
2. What vegetable do you really dislike?
you: I don't think you like too many vegetables at all. I will guess peas.
Me: I totally dislike brussels sprouts
3. What is your favorite place to vacation?
You: I think Maui. You love the place and it truly is beautiful.
Me: I loved Maui with the peacocks walking down the street, the sunsets and the smell of the flowers all over the place. Amsterdam is my other place. Anne Frank's house was an eye opening visit for me. Seeing her family's hiding place and just being there and knowing what happened to them was really emotional for me. When I would teach the book in class, it always struck me personally. there is a bust of her the height she would be and I have a picture of me beside that bust and it reminds me how young and small she really was.
4.If you could have dinner with anyone living, who would it be?
You: I think you would choose someone who is responsible and noteworthy with a care of humans through economics and not just talk. Maybe the Pope
Me:I would be more shallow and choose Serena Williams. I have followed her career since the beginning and now that she is nearing the end, I would love to met her and ask her questions.
5.What is your favorite sports team?
You:I think you like all Chicago teams. Maybe football or basketball more, but I can't really figure that one out. I know you go to your nephew's baseball games, but I go to my grandson's baseball games and I don't really care for baseball.
Me: My favorite sports teams are all of the Chicago teams, win or lose, I will always root for them. Bears, Cubs, White Sox (south side), Blackhawks, Bulls.
6. What athletic activity do you like or are willing to do?
You: I don't think you like scheduled exercise, but you do like to walk.
Me: I like swimming, treadmill and the elliptical. I haven't done any of that lately but those are the things I like.
7. What is your favorite movie?
You: I'm going to say something historical like Selma.
Me: I recently watched the Mandalorian series and I liked it.
8. If you could go anywhere right now, where would it be?
You: I would guess that you would head right up to your church and just run around the altar and say "I'm, Back!!!
Me: On this question, I would like to be there with you to enjoy your joy.
9. What is your favorite bakery treat?
You:You mention going every Saturday to a bakery, but never said what you get. I'll say something like glazed donuts for you or possibly bear claws.
Me:I love, love, love, chocolate long johns. Not the ones with creme on the inside, just a plain long john, and it has to be chocolate.
10. What is the perfect season for you?
You:I think you like the summer because you are very busy supporting the community because of the warm weather and you get to walk.
Me: I like spring and fall. Changing seasons intrigue me. The colors of the leaves. The first bloom of crocus and daffodils in the spring.
That all I have for now. I hope this put a smile to your face My Love. Have a blessed day and be a blessing to someone.
