Hello World!

 Wow! I didn't realize how much I missed this. Life is a circle. It will bring you full circle back to what you think you don't need or want. I think I'm going to write a book, or get that doctorate, or take on a part time job, or sell my house, or just live. 

I'm back to work. I went into the city yesterday and I still see stores boarded up. The school looked good though. I'm excited to have the opportunity to really have a premiere arts school on the south side of Chicago.

This world is a mess and it's not getting any better. God has just put it on my heart to write some things about whats going on in the U.S.A. I hurt. I need to heal. 


                                                    Loving Others

We will never know how much good just a simple smile  can do. We tell people how kind, forgiving, and understanding God is - are we the Living Proof?

Can they really see this kindness, this forgiveness, this understanding, alive in us? - Mother Teresa


Can they see love in us? Can they see love in me? Can I see love in others? Can I see love in me?

With a smile, we show that we are willing to begin on level ground. I care enough to start this relationship/encounter with a smile. A smile shows you care. But what exactly do you care about?

Good Morning

 L uke 8:11-15 New International Version 11  “This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God.  12  Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.   13  Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away.  14  The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature.   15  But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.
